Our Pre Season Half Marathon Training Camp is an intensive boost for your endurance fitness levels in time for the spring half marathon season! The camp will place a focus on your performance in the Jasper Canadian Rockies Half Marathon (April 8) and/or the Edmonton First Responders Half Marathon (April 30).
Our aim is to empower runners, whatever your experience or starting point, to understand and believe in your training. Through our weekend of coaching, training plans and seminars, we want to inspire and motivate you to achieve your goals and keep running as a constant enjoyable part of your life.
With varied sessions focusing on endurance, speed and power, targeted on your individual goals you’ll get to live, eat and breathe half marathon (and/or 10k!) training over the three days. We’ll take a look at some of the key training sessions you can use in your own personal race training, discuss cross-training methodology and race day preparations and tactics so that you can squeeze everything out of your training.
You will be charged a $100 deposit (plus GST) during the registration process. The remaining amount ($204.75) will be charged on February 17.
If we do not obtain our minimum of 18 attendees, your deposit can be refunded or be rolled into the entry of your choice.

Our Coaches & Seminar Leaders
Kevin Masters, BKin
Rob Appleton, BKin
Rob has always been a very active individual even from his early days. You could always find him playing soccer, street hockey, rollerblading or doing something outside in the neighbourhood. He did not find his real calling in sport until the age of thirteen when he discovered his love for running. Rob is neither the fastest nor the slowest runner but has always committed himself to improving. He has learned so much about life while going through countless pairs of running shoes. He has found that if you have a dream, make a plan and stick with it you will succeed. Throughout high school Rob trained for and completed several marathons and enjoyed his time thoroughly. He continued his passion for running at the University of Lethbridge on their track and field team well completing his degree in Kinesiology.
Rob brings to his personal training business a passion for helping others with their personal fitness goals. He has strong skills in empathy, hard work, problem solving and creative individual programming. Rob brings his own sense of style and expertise to all of his sessions and running programs. All of these factors led Rob into personal training in the winter of 2008.
He absolutely loves what he does and does not consider it work. He is very passionate for helping those who want to help themselves further their fitness goals.
